Open Question: PS2 slimline - how do I log into SOCOM 3 server to play online!?
I bought my kid a new slim PS2 and we've connected the ethernet port (built in) to our ADSL router - that every works OK and we can look the online servers. But when he tries to receive connected to the Australia Central Server (or something like that), it asks for a username and password! Where the heck do we receive that? Some forum posts refer to using two 7-digit codes on the network adapter packaging ... but our network adapter is built in! It didn't have any packaging!! Plus he went and threw away the box that the PS2 came in so I can't even check if it's somewhere else like on the box. Please help! Is there some other way to receive these mysterious numbers? Why aren't they printed on the PS2 case, for pete's sakes? And what do I do with them anyway? How does that receive us the "username and password" we need? Any help would be appreciated ...

okay. i want to buy the new game, socom fireteam bravo 3, for psp. i heard different things about it. i heard that you have to pay $20 to use the online feature. some people say that if you receive a new, unused UMD, it will work for free. others say that you need to buy the game download off of playstation network for it to work. I don't want to spend anymore than $30 on the game, INCLUDING ONLINE. Resolved Question: Question about the U.S. 75th Ranger Regiment?
I know that the 75th Rangers is a part of SOCOM, but I don't understand why. I'm below the impression the only thing that makes them "Special" is their rapid deployment and means of entry (Airborne, Amphibious, Mobile, Air Mobile) but they don't do anything like U.W. or F.I.D. They do conduct Direct Action, but don't every conventional army units? What makes the Rangers part of SOCOM and what makes them unique from standard Army Infantry?

Voting Question: SOCOM Fireteam Bravo 3 infrastructure error help?
When I went to the Infrastructure mode (competitive and co-op), I received this notice: "Please activate your copy of SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo 3 through the Account Management option in the PlayStation(r)Network." It happens after I login to my PSN account, so I think the problem may with the account. I tried with my original account and activated everything possible... to no avail. So I created a COMPLETELY new account and tried again... to no avail. Please help! Thanks! :)

Resolved Question: Why does my rank reset on Socom FTB3?
My rank right now is gold with a white line and everytime I rank up with a new emblem, for some reason everything resets itself back to my gold emblem and this is the 5th time already. My rating goes to 0 and my position in the leaderboard raises higher, but I'm not the only one, everybody elses ranks resets to, even my friends. Why is this happening to us? Is there something wrong with the server? Someone help.

Open Question: Airsoft m4 socom mod or m4 gunner?
The main difference between the two is one has multiple hi caps,scilencer and a red dot sight and the other has a 5000 round mag and a bipod socom is also cqb(close qaurters battle) and the gunner is a s-system the gunner is an m4

Resolved Question: PS3 Socom U.S Navy Seals Confrontation on PS3 can you answer my question?
By the way todays' date when I did every this is 3-1-10 at 12am. Okay I got this game and after inserting it, it told me this : 'Requires game data to be installed to the difficult steer.' Then it said this, ' Please quit the game; go to Game category of the Home menu & install the game on the blue-ray Disc; then relaunch the game. Okay I did that and it did work just fine. So I go to log in to PSN the next day and it says this, ' mistake Code 8001050F. I checked what it means. Didn't help me at every. I formatted to my dismay the entire system. Rebooted my router and still I cannot receive hooked to PSN but I can search the web. Can someone please help me?

Voting Question: PSP Problem heeelppp!!!!!!!!?
Just bought a psp 1000. Started up Crisis Core and the "new game load/game screen" selection is going crazy like the a button on the d-pad is constantly held down. Or the analog stick is held down. when its really not. loaded up socom and went into create profile, the selector is going crazy... I don't think its the d-pad as it only happens in conditions where the analog is activated. whats this mean? what do I need to fix this problem, if my analog is screwed. fixed, it was the analog, that area needed to be "tight" applying pressure between the analog and the screen fixes this.

ok i have one of the rare backwards compatible 20gb ps3s and i want to sell it to buy a quad or dirtbike, it plays every ps1,ps2,and ps3 games i have a ps3 bluetooth headset, one wireless dualshock3 controller and 9 games skate2 gta4 socom confrontation condemed 2 nba 2k9 motorstorm resistance fall of man pure ufc undisputed 2009 so how much should i sell every of this for, because people on craigslist keep offering me like 200 and 250 and thats way too low i think, and mines the only 20gb one on there. so tell me how much its worth? 250 is too low, this console sell for 299 by itself used at gamestop, and i have almost 150 in games and a headset. and i wanna sell it every together i just added everything up on gamestops website and it came out to $580.88

Voting Question: I own an aftermath orphus socom and want to get a laser for under 50$?
Could you help me find the most powerful laser that fits the rail for below $50? It is very important that it fits the rail. Also it would be nice if it was a dot not a beam of light if you know what i mean and that it stays on when you click the button and turns off when you press it again not a hold to keep on type laser pointer.

MMmmmmkay, so heres my situation in bullet points -psp 2000 -running m33-6, incase any of you dont know, its custom firmware. -trying to play socom flame team bravo 3 in infrastructure mode. -gives me mistake message about updating psp to play infrastructure. basically i con't play this awesome game online because apparently my psp needs some update, and its not Sony firmware, its M33-6, and i do not believe there is a M33-7 out... so yeah... wow bro dont jump to conclutions. im no pirate, i boutght this game with my money. i use m33-6 to receive the chilly themes and homebrews. I dont even know the homebrew to play games on.

Open Question: Which Platform for Bad Company 2 Multiplayer?
What platform do you recommend for BC2? I’ll be playing multiplayer only and I have an Xbox 360, PS3 and computer with high end graphics and 24” monitor. I’ll only be playing multiplayer. I played the BF series on the PC and had a great time; I haven’t used a console for FPS since Socom on the PS2 so I’m not sure what to expect on the Xbox or PS3 and I have no preference for the controllers. Any advice would be appreciated. I’d like to be able to find a lot of online games with good server support and the fewer cheaters the better (I know people will always cheat but do any of them do a better job of releasing patches or banning IPs)? Hardware is not an issue other than the difference between the consoles. I'm also an adult; I don't mind a diverse mix of players but I'd prefer to stay away from servers dominated by 12 year olds that think they've been to war. No offence meant but if you've played a lot of FPS you know what I mean. ;-) Thanks

Voting Question: Does anyone else have a problem with signing in to PSN?
Its telling me that there was an mistake and i have been signed out of psn, But i went and checked on Socom.Com and tried to sign in there, it let me. I looked at my friends list and i also had friends that were signed in. I even had some corrupted data on my ps3, so i figured that maybe it was my ps3's fault... I did a system restore and i still can't sign on. I was just wondering if anyone else was having the same problem I'm having with PSN..

Voting Question: Why do all video games that have the M14 rifle make it semi-auto only?
In every the video games I've played that have the M14 rifle it is semi-car only; Combat Arms, CoD4, SOCOM, and Bad Company 2 to name a few. It was in fact a selective flame weapon, so I've never understood why none of these games took advantage of it. In Bad Company 2, the G3 is automatic even though it is semi-car in CoD4, so why would semi-car be agreed upon for the M14 universally?

I have CODMW2 and I can't receive enough of it but i a review for SOCOM and someone said it blows COD away.....just curious what other thought because i have not played it yet. BTW..for PS3 I have CODMW2....like i said, i cant receive enough if it.. It is prolly the best game i have ever played.
